Supporting Students Today – Preparing Students for Tomorrow

The Schaumburg Township Elementary School Foundation, incorporated in 1987, was established to generate and distribute financial and other resources to the School District 54 community for enrichment programs and other projects aimed at enhancing the quality of education and providing students with extended learning opportunities. The Foundation is a qualified 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization, chartered by the State of Illinois.

The Foundation raises funds to support programs not fully funded by school budgets or tax dollars. Funds raised help to provide:

  • Funding breakfast programs within the district so that students can start each school day ready to learn.
  • Funding after-school STEM programs so that all students have the opportunity to become innovators, practice collaboration and be prepared for the exciting opportunities in their futures.
  • Scholarship grants to students from low-income households to participate in extracurricular activities, so that they have the same opportunities as all children.
