About Us

The Schaumburg Township Elementary School Foundation, incorporated in 1987, was established to generate and distribute financial and other resources to the School District 54 community for enrichment programs and other projects aimed at enhancing the quality of education and providing students with extended learning opportunities. The Foundation is a qualified 501c3 non-profit charitable organization, chartered by the State of Illinois.

The Foundation raises funds to support teacher grants and student scholarships for programs not funded by school budgets or tax dollars. Funds raised help to provide:

  • Individual teacher grants to foster creative and proven ideas for classroom initiatives;
  • Innovative supportive grants on a school-wide basis to provide extended learning opportunities;
  • Memorial scholarship grants designed to encourage students, who might not otherwise have the opportunity, in cultivating an academic, cultural and/or athletic interest.
