Grant Information

The Foundation provides four different types of grants.

The first three grants are for District 54 employees. The purpose of these grants is to foster innovative and creative approaches or to expand on proven ideas for classroom or school projects.

  • Mini Grant: The 2011 Mini Grants will be funded up to $500 and can be submitted by one or more district employees.
  • Project Grant: The 2011 Project Grants will be funded up to $1,500 and must be sponsored by two or more district employees.
  • Dennis P. Quinn Super Grant: The 2011 Dennis P. Quinn Super Grant will be funded up to $10,000 and must be sponsored by two or more district employees.

Memorial Grant: The Foundation proudly offers memorial scholarship grants for students, which are funded, in part, through contributions received in honor of individuals who have passed away. This grant will be offered to the children of School District 54 to cultivate an academic, cultural or athletic interest to enrich student educational opportunities. Memorial grants will be limited to a maximum of $150 per recipient.
