The Schaumburg Township Elementary School Foundation has been chosen to be among the first to participate in an exciting new program that will allow you to help fund grants for our students and schools, simply by changing your shopping habits.
As part of the Create Excitement for Public Schools Initiative, we are partnering with Amazon, Groupon (which offers incredible deals and is an easy way to discover the city around you at a great price), Mabel’s Labels (a company that various labels to mark your children’s items) and Identity Direct (a company that offers character items from Nickelodeon, Disney, etc. that are personalized for your child). By doing nothing more than redirecting your online buying, you can help raise money for our schools:
- Register by clicking on www.ce4psdeals.com. Once you register you will receive a daily email with the Groupon deal of the day and the links to Amazon, Mabel’s Labels and Identity Direct. Mabel’s Labels and Identity Direct are each offering great back to school specials right now – take a look. These companies will also offer premier deals specifically for District 54 schools and periodic specials (for example during Halloween and the winter holidays), so check your email every day.
- If you already have a Groupon account, please note that it is important that you buy through this link rather than the one that you are currently receiving directly from Groupon. The deals are the same, but the Foundation only benefits if you click through the Foundation email.
The Foundation will receive a portion of the proceeds based on the amount of purchases by our supporters. We can increase this amount tremendously if you forward this email to everyone you know and ask them to register. They will automatically receive the Groupon for their area of the country and the Foundation will receive a percentage of their sales.
Thank you in advance for joining us in this quick and easy way to bring much needed funding to our schools through the Foundation. We promise to share the success of this program by posting periodic updates on our website regarding how much money has been raised and how we will use the funds.
