The Foundation has been chosen to be among the first to participate in an exciting new program that will bring money to our schools – the Create Excitement for Public Schools Initiative. Through this initiative we are partnering with Amazon, Groupon (which offers incredible deals and is an easy way to discover the city around you at a great price), Mabel’s Labels (a company that various labels to mark your children’s items) and Identity Direct (a company that offers character items from Nickelodeon, Disney, etc. that are personalized for your child). By doing nothing more than redirecting your online buying, you can help raise money for our schools.

Mabel’s Labels and Identity Direct are each offering great back to school specials right now – take a look. These companies will also offer premier deals specifically for District 54 schools and periodic specials (for example during Halloween and the winter holidays), so check your email every day.

The Foundation hosts several fundraising events throughout the year and offers various levels of sponsorship for interested businesses and other organizations. Please click on the Events page to learn about the various sponsorship opporunities at one of our upcoming events, such as Mardi Gras or the Golf Outing.
If you have an idea for a unique sponsorship or partnership opportunity, please share those with the Foundation Board as well. We are always interested in talking to businesses and other organizations about opportunities for us to support District 54 in ensuring student success. Specific donation programs
Thanks: Offer recognition through the To Honor and Notice Kindness and Service (THANKS) program. Simply fill out the THANKS Donation Form and a certificate will be sent to the person you wish to honor notifying him of the donation.
Payroll Deduction: Employees of District 54 have the opportunity to support the Foundation and educational excellence in the district by contributing funds through payroll deduction. Simply fill out the Payroll Deduction form and submit it to the Foundation mailbox at the District Office.
Volunteer!
The Foundation needs many volunteers throughout the year to support our various events. Please click on the Events page and sign up to volunteer for one of our upcoming events, such as Mardi Gras, the Golf Outing or Septemberfest parking.
